The AMC Brummelkamp Gallery will show Cover from 24 March until 5 May 2009. Cover was first shown at the Centraal Museum in Utrecht in 2008.

A book entitled Cover – Viviane Sassen and Martine Stig – is being published by Veenman Publishers in November 2008. It contains all the Cover photographs and an introductory text by Catherine Somzé (see below). The graphic design is by Thomas Buxó.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
In 2007, ArtAids commissioned the Dutch photographer Juul Hondius to create a work on the theme ‘Stigma’. The artist travelled to Johannesburg and produced three photographs for ArtAids, which he entitled Hillbrow, Newtown and Noordergesig.
The prints of the Stigma series are for sale; ArtAids shares in the proceeds.
