In 2007, ArtAids commissioned the Dutch photographer Juul Hondius to create a work on the theme ‘Stigma’. The artist travelled to Johannesburg and produced three photographs for ArtAids, which he entitled Hillbrow, Newtown and Noordergesig.
The prints of the Stigma series are for sale; ArtAids shares in the proceeds.
