Gerald Van der Kaap’s work ‘Yes, Negative’ was a big succes during the FIB-Heineken festival from July 16 to 19. Yes, Negative consists of two vans containing video installations in which a doctor directly addresses the viewer to explain issues related to the AIDs test procedure, in order to reduce people’s fear of taking the test. This work was created by the Dutch artist in 2008. It was commissioned by ArtAids for inclusion in the exhibition More to Love which was held in Bangkok that same year.
